A Spanish artist, born in Granada in 1963. His professional endeavours are shared among archaeology, painting, engraving and illustration. His artistic training has been gained at the “Gabia Workshop” since 1973, under the direction of Eduardo Fresneda, firstly diving into the world of painting, ceramics and engraving.

He has collaborated with illustrations in various newspapers in addition to the layout and design of numerous exhibitions organised by public institutions, with the “Rituales funerarios desde la Prehistoria hasta nuestros días” (Funeral rituals from prehistory to the present day) particularly noteworthy.

Between 1993 and 1998, he formed a part of the experimental engraving group, “Taller Realejo”. He has completed numerous training courses in the field of graphic work.

In 2003, he founded his own engraving workshop - “La Estampería” - in Granada. This space is aimed at researching and publicising engraving, printing, artist books and more. Since 2005, he has included handmade paper as a key part of his work, while it is also an area he continues to research.

He has developed numerous individual and collective exhibitions in Granada, Marbella, Madrid, A Coruña, Malaga, Salamanca and Jaén, among other places.

He has also completed many engraving portfolios.

His work can be found in collections including: National Library (Madrid); National Chalcography (Madrid); Modern Art Museum (Santo Domingo); State Hermitage Museum (Saint Petersburg); National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk); Spanish Contemporary Engraving Museum; Archaeology Museum (Granada); Royal Household of Spain; Royal Household of Morocco; Presidency of the Government.
