Privacy is of the utmost important to MILART, for which reason we wish to maintain an open, transparent approach to processing your personal data.

Where do we store your data?

The data gathered about you is stored on a server hosted within the European Economic Area (EEA). Any transfer of your personal data will be developed in accordance with applicable law.

To whom do we communicate your data?

We never transfer, sell or exchange your personal data with third parties external to the MILART Group. 

Your data will only be used by MILART to send your orders and newsletters about special offers and promotions.

Right to access:  

Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not MILART is processing personal data concerning them. You may ask MILART to send you your personal data we are processing via email.

Provided that MILART is processing your personal data using automated means, based on your consent or an agreement, you have the right to obtain a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format that may be mechanically read and transferred to your name or a third party. It will only include the personal data that you have requested.

Right to rectification:  

You have the right to request your personal data be rectified, if they are incorrect, including the right to complete data that is incomplete.  

If you have an account on MILART, you can edit your personal data via this account.

Right to suppression: 

You have the right to secure, without undue delay, suppression of any of your personal data processed by MILART at any time, except in the following scenarios:

* you have an outstanding matter with Customer Service

* you have an outstanding order that has not yet been sent or whose delivery has not yet been completed

* you have an outstanding debt with MILART, regardless of payment method

* it is suspected or has been confirmed that you have incorrectly used our services in the last four years

* your debt has been passed on to a third party in the last three years, or in the last year in the case of deceased customers

* you have made a purchase and we must store your personal data that is related to the transaction due to accounting regulations

Right to oppose personal data processing based on legitimate interest: 

You have the right to oppose processing of your personal data based on the legitimate interest of MILART, which will cease to process your personal data unless we can argue compelling legitimate grounds for processing that prevail over your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the formulation, exercising or defence of claims.

Right to oppose direct marketing:

You have the right to oppose direct marketing, including the creation of profiles made for said direct marketing.

You may unsubscribe from direct marketing at any time via the following channels:

* by following the indications provided in each marketing email

* by editing the settings of your account on MILART

Right to file a claim with a control authority:  

If you believe MILART has processed your data incorrectly, please contact us. You also have the right to file a claim with the corresponding data protection authority.

Right to limit processing: 

You have the right to request that MILART limit processing of your personal data in the following circumstances:

* if you are opposed to processing of your data based on the legitimate interest of MILART, therefore MILART must limit any processing of said detail until the legitimate interest is verified.

* if you claim that your personal data are incorrect, MILART must limit any processing of said data until their accuracy is checked.

* if processing is illegal, you may oppose your personal data being deleted and, instead, request limitation of their use.

* if MILART no longer requires your personal data but your require them to formulate, exercise or defend claims.

Exercising of rights:

What do we use your personal data for?

We will use your personal data to manage your online purchases on MILART by processing your orders and returns through our online services, and to send you notifications related to delivery status or in the event of issues with delivery of your items.

We will use your personal data to manage your payments.

In addition, we will use your personal data to manage any complaints or questions regarding product guarantees.

What type of personal data do we process?

We will processing the following personal data categories:

* contact information, such as name, address, email address and telephone number

* order information

We do not store data related to bank accounts, credit card numbers or passwords used on payment gateways (e.g. PayPal).

Who has access to your personal data?

Your personal data will only be accessed by MILART staff and, in the case of marketing campaigns, we will need to use email addresses and names to launch the campaign from external professional services, which have their own data protection clauses, for which reason these data will not be transferred to third parties for use.

In the event the payment method selected is Stripe or PayPal, your personal data will be processed by said platform. They have their own privacy policies and they are external to MILART. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?

Processing of your personal data by MILART is necessary in order to fulfil the management and order delivery service on your behalf.

Your data will be stored while you remain an active customer.

Users must guarantee the veracity, accuracy, authenticity and validity of the personal data provided.

Protection of minors
We do not collect personal data from minors. The parent/legal guardian is responsible for ensuring the privacy of minors in their care, doing everything in their power to guarantee they have authorised collection and use of the minor’s personal data.

Social networks
You can access the social networks Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, and Instagram through our website as they may be freely accessed by all users. These are websites where the user may register and follow us for free. On these social networks users can find out about our activities, issue opinions, and access photos and videos. Users of these social networks must be aware that this space is independent to the MILART website and it is open, or visible, to all of its users, and the privacy policies that apply to those contents are the policies set by Facebook, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram. MILART is not the owner of these social networks.
