A Spanish artist, born in Granada in 1974. He gained a degree in fine arts, specialising in painting (1997) and history of art (1999) at the University of Granada.
Summer School in Art History 1999: Art and colour, University of Cambridge with John Gage.
He has taken part in workshops with Juan Uslé (2004), Richard Nonas (2003, Chema Cobo (2000) and Daniel Canogar (1999).
Among other grants, he has received those from the Mojácar Art Courses 1999, Fondazione Ratti for the Corso Superiore de Arte Visiva 2003 and the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation’s grant for graphic creation, Majorca 2004. He has hosted individual exhibitions in Spanish galleries, including the Palacio de los Condes de Gabia and Sandunga Gallery in Granada, Sen Gallery in Madrid and Unicaja Espacio Emergente in Malaga. This is in addition to displays in Munich and Rotterdam.
He has been involved in numerous collective exhibitions at fairs such as ARCO since 2001, Estampa since 2002 and ArteFiera in Bologna in 2009.
He develops screen printing edition for institutions that include Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid and the Francisco Ayala Foundation in Granada.
He has collaborated as an illustrator with the publishers Siruela, Hiperión and Bartleby.
His work can be found in various collections, including: La Caixa’s Testimoni, Unicaja, CajaGranada, the Local Government of Granada, the National Library and the National Chalcography.
